Remote Licensed Psychologist (Ohio Required; Multi-State Preferred) – 1099
Stern HealthWorks is seeking a licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) with an active Ohio license to provide virtual therapy services for adult clients, including veterans and military-connected individuals.
We are particularly interested in psychologists who also hold licensure in additional states.
Role Overview
• Provide 45-minute virtual therapy sessions
• Complete a concise, structured summary note after each session
• Maintain full clinical autonomy
• Work with adults navigating stress, trauma, transition, and functional challenges
Referral volume builds based on client demand. This role is well-suited for clinicians seeking flexible, supplemental referrals.
Optional Evaluation Work
Qualified psychologists may complete:
• Independent Medical Opinions (IMOs) – $200
• DBQs – $200
• Combined IMO + DBQ package – $300
Evaluation clients are separate from therapy clients to maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
Required
• Active, unrestricted Ohio Psychologist license
• PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
• Professional liability insurance
• Secure telehealth capability
• Ability to produce structured documentation
Preferred
• Licensure in additional states
• Experience working with veterans or military-connected populations
Compensation
• $80–90 per completed 45-minute therapy session
• Evaluation compensation as outlined above
• Paid semi-monthly
• Independent contractor (1099)
We provide administrative coordination only. All clinical decisions remain solely with the psychologist.
