We're looking for a seasoned Lead Data Operations Analyst to lead our data operations team in Charlotte, USA. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving the success of our data analysis products, identifying and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. **Key Responsibilities**
As a Lead Data Operations Analyst, you'll have the following key responsibilities:
* Lead data operations activities for a suite of data analysis products used to support internal bank operations
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues affecting our client data analysis stage
* Analyze complex technical tasks challenges within a large data environment, requiring in-depth assessment
* Lead research and create reports related to ongoing data operations and present findings to internal stakeholders
* Lead the development of new activities cycle and stage enhancements
* Serve as the primary contact with the internal group, ensuring communication and reporting of delivery from the offshore group
* Champion continuous improvement, including designing new processes and identifying new opportunities
* Contribute to the establishment of performance standards for the team and ensure tasks achieve or exceed performance metrics
* Direct the daily Risk and Control stream of tasks, focusing on strategies, techniques, and work standards to ensure a successful outcome; redesigning and driving consistent support improvement
* Lead teams to meet time constraints and drive new initiatives
* Review, approve, and implement recommended changes to plans
* Collaborate and communicate with team members to resolve issues and achieve innovation mandates
* Serve as a mentor to peers
**Required Capabilities**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 3+ years of experience in investigation, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
* Strong understanding of large data lake environments and ability to work with various technology teams to investigate stage and data quality issues
* Experience supporting ETL, data warehouse, and data analysis capabilities on large data engineering, such as Hadoop
* 2+ years of experience using a combination of the following tools: HIVE, Panda, Autosys, Grafana, Splunk
* Past experience supporting Kafka and MongoDB
**Preferred Capabilities**
While not required, the following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
* 3+ years of experience supporting large data environments
* 3+ years of experience delivering ETL, data warehouse, and data analysis capabilities on large data engineering, such as Hadoop
* Experience using a combination of the following tools: HIVE, Panda, Autosys, Grafana, Splunk
* Past experience supporting Kafka and MongoDB
