This remote, full‑time role will provide strategic legal guidance across a spectrum of complex issues—including technology transactions, product development, privacy, security, and IP protection—while collaborating closely with senior leadership, business units, and external partners. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor, shaping policy, mitigating risk, and enabling arenaflex to launch innovative health‑tech solutions at scale.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain policies for product development, data protection, cybersecurity, and compliance with federal, state, and international regulations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Privacy, and Security—to embed legal considerations into product lifecycles from conception to launch.
- Manage the creation, review, and approval of IP strategies, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and licensing agreements.
- Oversee relationships with outside counsel, directing litigation, regulatory investigations, and specialized legal matters as needed.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research, draft authoritative documents, and produce concise briefing materials for executive decision‑making.
- Monitor evolving legal and business trends that could impact arenaflex’s technology and product portfolio, providing timely risk assessments and mitigation plans.
- Lead internal training initiatives to educate stakeholders on legal best practices, data governance, and IP protection.
- Support corporate governance activities, including board presentations, policy updates, and compliance reporting.

- Proven track record negotiating complex technology, data licensing, and vendor contracts.
- Demonstrated expertise in privacy, security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a talent for translating legal concepts into practical business solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of drafting clear, concise documents for senior executives.
- Experience managing external counsel and overseeing multi‑jurisdictional legal projects.
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced, remote environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
