Job Overview The Retail Customer Service Associate is a critical role at blithequark, responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our customers across various product lines, including print, signs, graphics, and shipping. As a Store Consultant, you will utilize your consultative skills to understand each customer's unique needs, suggest alternatives, and provide tailored solutions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our customers receive an outstanding experience, from the initial consultation to the final delivery of their products. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service, utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of blithequark's products and services, including print, signs, graphics, and shipping Take complex customer orders, provide accurate pricing information, and assemble parcels for shipping Operate and maintain a wide range of equipment, including printing, binding, and other related machinery Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment, adhering to blithequark's standards and procedures Process financial transactions, handle cash, and make change, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals, improve customer satisfaction, and drive business growth Essential Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and requirements: High school diploma or equivalent education 6+ months of specialized experience in a retail or customer-facing environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and team members Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods, and move/lift up to 55 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure, with minimal supervision Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences Knowledge of print, signs, graphics, and shipping products and services Experience with operating and maintaining equipment, including printing, binding, and other related machinery Ability to suggest areas for improvement in internal processes, along with possible solutions Experience with Quality-driven management principles and practices Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
