Position Summary
The Applications Specialist – Human & Veterinary Ultrasound plays a critical role in supporting Esaote’s commercial success by delivering expert clinical and technical guidance across the customer lifecycle. This position partners closely with sales, service, and marketing teams to drive product adoption, enhance user proficiency, and elevate the customer experience.
You will lead pre-sales demonstrations, provide hands-on training, and serve as a trusted clinical advisor to customers in both human and veterinary environments. This role also contributes to product innovation by sharing real-world clinical insights and feedback.
Success in this role requires deep ultrasound expertise, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Clinical Support (30%)
- Lead high-impact pre-sales demonstrations, showcasing Esaote ultrasound capabilities in clinical settings
- Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical applications and product functionality
- Partner with sales teams to support deal strategy and customer engagement
- Document customer feedback and identify opportunities for product enhancement
Customer Training & Satisfaction (40%)
- Deliver hands-on training for clinicians and staff across human and veterinary markets
- Provide ongoing education and remote support to ensure optimal system utilization
- Troubleshoot clinical and technical challenges; collaborate with service teams for resolution
- Build strong customer relationships to drive satisfaction and long-term retention
Marketing & Thought Leadership (20%)
- Represent Esaote at trade shows, conferences, and workshops
- Support product launches and educational initiatives
- Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Capture and curate clinical images for demonstrations and marketing use
Continuous Learning & Development (10%)
- Stay current with ultrasound technology, clinical protocols, and industry trends
- Mentor junior team members and support internal training initiatives
- Share best practices and insights across teams
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
- ARDMS multi-registered (RDMS, RVT, RDCS) strongly preferred
- Minimum 10+ years of clinical ultrasound experience
- Minimum 5+ years in a commercial or applications role
- Working knowledge of veterinary ultrasound applications
Technical Expertise
- Advanced knowledge of ultrasound physics and imaging principles
- Strong understanding of human and veterinary clinical workflows and protocols
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to operate, demonstrate, and troubleshoot ultrasound systems effectively

- Ability to safely interact with animals during veterinary procedures
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
