Financial Analyst Location: REMOTE; Must live within 75 miles of St. Louis, MO Salary: $90,000- $100,000 + Bonus + Benefits Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K w/ match, Holidays, PTO Job Type: Full-Time Typical Hours: M-F; 40 hrs., Flexible; 100% Remote Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship is not available Financial Analyst Description Our client, a boutique financial advisory and consulting firm, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its growing client portfolio. In this role, you will partner closely with experienced CFOs to provide financial modeling, performance analysis, reporting, and planning support across multiple clients—ranging from scaling startups to established mid-market businesses. You will translate financial data into actionable insights, support month-end close activities, drive process improvements, and participate in strategic discussions with client leadership. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and financial modeling skills, experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or public accounting, and thrives in a client-service environment. This role offers exposure to CFO-level strategy, hands-on financial operations, and a clear path to expanded advisory responsibilities. Financial Analyst Responsibilities • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for multiple clients • Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis • Analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities • Support key month-end close activities and execute required journal entries • Review bank and balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy • Draft clear analytical summaries and insights for CFO review • Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and performance reports • Participate in client meetings to present findings and support strategic decisions • Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure data integrity across systems Financial Analyst Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree required • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or public accounting required • Strong financial analysis and budgeting experience required • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Modeling, etc.) required
