I have a faceless travel YouTube channel (@thejetsethacks) that's been running since August 2025 but hasn't hit monetization yet. The videos look good, but the strategy behind them hasn't worked. I'm hiring a YouTube growth strategist to be the brain behind the channel.
You won't be editing videos — I have a separate video creator for that. Your job is to decide WHAT gets made, WHY it will get views, and HOW we grow.
What you'll do:
— Audit my current channel: what's working, what's dead, what needs to change
— Keyword and topic research: find high-search, low-competition travel topics every month
— Build the monthly content calendar and provide briefs/outlines for the video creator
— Write SEO-optimized titles, descriptions, and tags for every video
— Direct thumbnail concepts (the creator designs them, you decide the strategy)
— Develop a Shorts strategy specifically to drive subscriber growth
— Track analytics weekly and adjust strategy based on data (CTR, AVD, impressions, sub growth)
— Provide a simple weekly report: what's up, what's down, what we're changing
— Plan monetization beyond AdSense: recommend travel affiliate programs, sponsorship outreach timing, and how to use the channel to promote digital products
What I need from you:
— Proven understanding of the YouTube algorithm in 2025/2026 (not outdated SEO tricks)
— Experience growing channels from small to monetized — show me results
— Ability to spot trending topics and search demand before they peak
— Familiarity with tools like TubeBuddy, VidIQ, or similar
— Data-driven mindset — every content decision should have a reason behind it
To apply:
1. Share 1–2 YouTube channels you've helped grow (with before/after metrics)
2. Look at @thejetsethacks and in 2–3 sentences tell me what's wrong and what you'd change first
3. What tools do you use for YouTube keyword research?
4. Your monthly rate
Budget: $150–$200/month
Why this is worth your time: This isn't a one-off gig. I'm building this channel into a real business and need a strategist who's in it for the long run. If we hit monetization and revenue milestones together, there are performance bonuses on top of the retainer. I also have other projects (KDP books, digital products) that could benefit from someone who understands content strategy.
The last person I hired promised 90-day monetization and delivered 6 months of nothing. I don't need promises, I need someone who knows what they're doing and can prove it.
