YouTube Scriptwriter – Long-Form Storytelling (Old Money / Historic Mansions)

Apply Now
Hi there, I’m starting a new YouTube channel in the Old Money / Historic Mansions niche and I’m looking for a strong storytelling scriptwriter to join the project long-term. This is not a news channel. This is not a political channel. This is not keyword-stuffed SEO writing. This is immersive, long-form storytelling. What the channel is about The channel will focus on: • Historic estates • Old money dynasties • Wealth, power, legacy • Scandals, secrets, downfall • The untold stories behind iconic mansions Think: atmosphere, tension, layered storytelling. Videos will be 45–90 minutes long. We will start with 1 video per week. What I’m looking for You’re a great fit if you: • Love writing long, immersive stories • Understand pacing and narrative structure • Know how to build tension without overdoing it • Can write in clean, natural, fluent English • Understand that hooks matter (at the beginning and throughout) • Know how to avoid filler and generic YouTube clichés This is storytelling-driven content. Not blog writing. Not keyword padding. Not “Hi guys, welcome back to the channel” scripts. Script Style Requirements The structure should follow this kind of rhythm: 1. Strong atmospheric hook • Immediate immersion • Introduce mystery / tension • No greetings, no subscribe requests 2. Clear narrative direction • Establish stakes early • Why does this story matter? 3. Escalation • Build emotional layers • Introduce conflict, power shifts, secrets, downfall 4. Strategic micro-hooks throughout • Light open loops • Curiosity triggers • Smooth transitions 5. Strong thematic ending • Reflective tone • Legacy / consequences / symbolism • No abrupt endings The tone should feel cinematic, calm, controlled — not sensational or chaotic. Important I don’t mind if you use AI as a tool for research. But the final script must feel human. If your writing reads robotic, generic, or keyword-stuffed, this won’t be a fit. I’m looking for a writer — not a content generator. Workflow • 1 long-form script per week • Clear briefs will be provided • Ongoing collaboration if it’s a good fit Budget We pay per script. The exact rate will depend on: • Length • Quality • Experience • Consistency I’m looking for long-term collaboration, not one-off projects. How to Apply To make sure you actually read this post, start your application with: OLD MONEY Then include: • 1–2 examples of long-form storytelling scripts you’ve written • A short note (2–3 sentences max) on what makes a great opening hook for a historical mansion story • Your turnaround time for a 60-minute script Applications that don’t follow the instructions won’t be considered. If you love writing layered stories about power, wealth, legacy, and downfall — this could be a really strong long-term partnership. Looking forward to reading your work. — Adriana
