McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, P.A. (MVP Law) is looking for an attorney to join one of their dynamic Missouri/Illinois locations to practice primarily in Illinois workers' compensation defense. The role involves managing a caseload, trying cases, conducting depositions and mediations, and participating in marketing and business development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Manage a workers' compensation defense caseload with independence
- Successfully try cases, conduct depositions and mediations
- Effectively establish, build, and maintain relationships with all assigned clients
- Participate in marketing and business development opportunities within the firm
- Engage in a collaborative team atmosphere
- Utilize available technology to manage clients effectively and efficiently within a paperless work environment
Skills
- Minimum 0-5 years of relevant experience
- Licensed and in good standing in Illinois
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
