Hiring: VP – Marketing (SPAC & Capital Markets Events) Location: New York Engagement Model: Retainership (3 months / 12 months) Event Frequency: Flagship SPAC / IPO / Capital Markets events every 3 months Role Overview We are seeking a VP – Marketing with deep exposure to SPAC, IPO, and Capital Markets ecosystems to lead sponsorship-driven marketing for high-impact deal-making events in the US market. This is a revenue-focused, senior role with strong upside and continuity across multiple events annually. Key Responsibilities • Design and execute marketing & sponsorship strategies for SPAC, IPO, and Capital Markets events Build and close sponsorship packages with: • SPAC sponsors and management teams • Investment banks, PE/VC funds • Legal, accounting, IR, compliance, PR, and capital markets service providers • Drive enterprise-level sponsorship sales across the US market Coordinate with: • Event management agencies • Hotels and premium venues • Production, branding, and on-ground execution partners • Ensure high-quality delegate, sponsor, and investor experience • Support positioning of events as premium deal-flow and networking platforms Ideal Candidate Profile • Senior marketing or business development leader with strong SPAC / IPO / capital markets network • Proven track record of sponsorship-led revenue generation for conferences or financial events • Strong relationships with US-based financial institutions and service providers • Experience working with luxury hotels, event agencies, and high-end corporate events • Entrepreneurial, commercially driven, and execution-focused Engagement & Compensation • Retainership options: • 3-month engagement (single event cycle) • 12-month engagement (multiple events across the year) • Opportunity to continue across recurring quarterly events • Competitive retainership + performance-linked upside Why This Role? • Direct access to decision-makers in SPAC & capital markets • High-visibility role with repeatable revenue opportunities • Platform to build a long-term leadership position in premium financial events Interested candidates or referrals: Please DM or share a brief profile highlighting relevant SPAC / capital markets event experience.
