Boston Consulting Group (BCG) partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges. The Talent Acquisition Assistant will support the complete life cycle of recruiting efforts for the Dallas office's Consulting Team, including event planning, candidate communication, and relationship building.
Responsibilities
- Manage logistics (planning, correspondence, execution) of the recruiting process from marketing and events planning, through screening, interviewing, and conversion, including conversion/welcome weekends and the summer intern program
- Manage communication between the regional team and office leadership, ensuring streamlined recruitment processes and strategic alignment
- Co-own interview schedules throughout the year (interviewer swaps, candidate communication, email logistics)
- Team with the broader Talent Acquisition team on the office recruiting process across OneBCG
- Participate in management of the office’s recruiting cadre commitments and performance tracking processes (staff North America events and interviews with the right mix of consulting staff, ensure commitments are upheld, manage swap process, etc.)
- Cultivate relationships with candidates, following up with all inquiries while developing BCG presence and positive experiences; cultivate relationships with campus career services, developing BCG’s brand on campus
- Collect and analyze information and data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting efforts, providing valuable input aimed at continuously improving our recruiting efforts; monitor and analyze the competitive environment
- Drive conversion activities for offerees (ideation, planning, execution)
- Participate in management of the office Associate and Consultant summer internship programs, including coordination and execution of orientation, case staffing, performance feedback, affiliation events, and conversion efforts
- Ensure recruiting records, global database, and metrics are up to date and accurate
- Use the database and other tools to manage data and generate correspondence, reports, interview and event invitations
- Lead and execute strategic projects as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1-2 years of recruiting, HR, or relevant experience required
- Experience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization
- Flexibility and some travel required, particularly around peak recruiting season and planning weeks; Attendance at key evening and weekend events required
- High customer service and relationship orientation - strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly responsive, want to deliver great results at all times, able to develop effective working relationships with colleagues across the organization and candidates
- Excellent time and project management skills. You have clear systems and composure to deal with multiple tasks at once, with a great attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when under pressure
- Organizational skills to assist with all the behind-the-scenes magic while providing creative solutions, driving our high-level customer service, and positively impacting our recruiting efforts
- A strong intellectual curiosity. You're a creative thinker, interested in the bigger picture, always looking to solve problems
- Self-motivated and trustworthy. You take initiative and are able to work independently, exercising judgment in managing confidential/sensitive information
