• *ITAM Role Overview**
The
• *ServiceNow ITAM Consultant/Architect**
is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing
• *IT Asset Management (ITAM)**
solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role focuses on
• *Hardware Asset Management (HAM)**
and
• *Software Asset Management (SAM)**
across the full asset lifecycle—from procurement to retirement—enabling
• *cost optimization, compliance, and governance**

• *Key Responsibilities**
• and implement ServiceNow ITAM solutions, including: Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
• Asset Management (SAM / SAM Pro)
• and manage end-to-end asset lifecycle processes (request, procure, deploy, maintain, retire)
• and maintain accurate asset inventories and data integrity across hardware and software repositories
• license compliance, normalization, reconciliation, and optimization for software assets
• ITAM with CMDB, Discovery, Procurement, SCCM, JAMF, Intune, Flexera, and other third-party tools
• and enforce asset governance, policies, and controls in collaboration with IT, Finance, and Procurement teams
• dashboards and reports for asset utilization, compliance, cost savings, and audit readiness
• audits, using accurate asset and license data
