We are standardizing accounting operations across all entities and conducting a structured historical tax review to ensure accurate compliance and proper Net Operating Loss (NOL) carryforwards.
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of accounting systems, tax compliance, and historical reconstruction work.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead implementation and oversight of QuickBooks Online Advanced
• Manage multi-entity accounting and intercompany reporting
• Oversee payroll and payroll tax compliance
• Prepare and file business tax returns (LLC, S-Corp)
• Conduct historical reconstruction of financial records (as needed)
• Review and correct prior-year filings
• Analyze and properly calculate NOL carryforwards
• Coordinate with outside CPA/tax advisor when appropriate
• Deliver monthly financial reporting to ownership
Qualifications
• 5+ years accounting experience
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience
• Experience preparing business tax returns
• Experience with amended returns and NOL analysis preferred
• Experience reconstructing books from bank statements preferred
• Real estate or construction accounting a plus
• CPA not required (but welcomed)
