[Remote] Operations Business Analyst I

The Operations Business Analyst I role involves gathering business requirements, supporting process mapping, and assisting with data collection while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities - Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from internal stakeholders - Support process mapping, documentation, and the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) - Participate in stakeholder meetings to capture action items and identify potential process improvements - Assist with data collection, validation, and entry into reports or dashboards under guidance - Contribute to the development of training materials, job aids, or reference guides in collaboration with SMEs - Maintain organized documentation repositories and assist with version control - Help monitor project timelines and task completion using basic project tracking tools - Work closely with cross-functional teams to learn and support various operational workflows - Demonstrate continuous learning and actively seek mentorship from senior analysts - Monitor updates to regulatory requirements and integrate changes to maintain compliance - Understand and apply basic project management principles to manage documentation development timelines, track progress, and communicate status to stakeholders Skills - High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) - Advanced computer skills in MS Office products - A valid and current Driver's License - Auto Insurance - Professional licensure(s) - 1–2 years of experience in an operations, administrative, or business analyst role (internship or full-time) - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Basic knowledge of process improvement methodologies and data analysis tools - Familiarity with project tracking tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Excel, or equivalent) - Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks - Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn Company Overview - Gold Coast Health Plan is a non-profit organization that offers all kinds of health insurance plans.
