Position Overview – Licensed Social Worker (Remote, Part‑Time)
We are seeking a dedicated, licensed Master’s‑level Social Worker to join our nationwide telehealth team. In this role you will partner with a registered nurse case manager to assess, plan, and advocate for members across the entire lifecycle. All member contact is conducted via telephone or secure electronic exchange, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States while maintaining a consistent schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM Pacific Standard Time. No weekends, no holidays—just meaningful, flexible work that fits your life.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Assessment & Advocacy: Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, identify barriers, and develop individualized care plans that align with members’ benefit plans and health goals.
- Resource Navigation: Research and connect members with community resources for transportation, housing, financial assistance, and safety concerns.
- Collaborative Care: Work hand‑in‑hand with registered nurse case managers and other clinical staff to coordinate seamless, interdisciplinary care.
- Telephonic & Digital Communication: Engage members through compassionate phone calls, secure messaging, and electronic health record documentation.
- Education & Empowerment: Provide members with evidence‑based guidance on lifestyle choices, medication adherence, and behavioral health strategies.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate, HIPAA‑compliant records and ensure all interactions meet state and federal regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Share insights and feedback with the broader arenaflex team to enhance service delivery, policy development, and member satisfaction.
Essential Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the state of residence.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical social work, case management, or a closely related field.
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Proven ability to conduct telephonic assessments and deliver care remotely.
- Strong knowledge of community resources, Medicaid/Medicare benefits, and health‑care navigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a compassionate and solution‑focused demeanor.
