They are seeking a Full-Time Fractional CFO who will manage client relationships, provide financial clarity, and drive strategic direction for multiple businesses.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary CFO advisor for a portfolio of client businesses proactively identifying issues and driving solutions without waiting for direction
• Rapidly assess how each business operates and translate that into clear financial expectations, forecasts, and focused plans
• Lead decision-driven conversations that create accountability and turn plans into results
• Manage competing priorities across clients while maintaining momentum and quality
Skills
• Experience working closely with owners or executive teams in an advisory or leadership capacity
• Ability to manage high-stakes relationships and act as a credible advocate for owners with bankers, CPAs, and other key service providers
• Strong working understanding of accounting principles and financial statements; ability to guide accounting function improvements and partner with controllers
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 proficiency; ability to adapt quickly to different client accounting systems and ERP environments
• Strong grasp of forecasting, cash flow planning, and management reporting
• Excellent prioritization and time-management skills across multiple concurrent responsibilities
• Comfort working with imperfect information and imposing structure quickly
• Clear, plain-spoken communicator who can explain financial concepts simply
