Why This Role Matters As a Remote Data Entry Specialist for arenaxflex, you will be at the front line of patient enrollment and medication data management. This position directly supports our clinicians, pharmacists, and care teams by ensuring that critical health information is captured accurately, securely, and in compliance with HIPAA standards. Key Responsibilities - Data Entry & Verification: Accurately input patient and prescription information into arenaflex’s proprietary systems, following established guidelines and quality‑control procedures. - HIPAA‑Compliant Communication: Handle inbound calls, chats, and messages from patients, prescribers, and insurance carriers while maintaining strict confidentiality. - Prescription Order Management: Process refill requests, verify missing medication details, interpret SIG codes, and ensure orders are complete before submission. - Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve “outside odds” (data discrepancies) by gathering additional information, making necessary corrections, and resubmitting for approval. - Collaboration with Clinical Teams: Provide real‑time support to pharmacists both in‑store and in remote locations, escalating complex issues to senior staff when required. - Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of state‑mandated pharmacy enrollment certifications and obtain required licensure within the first 90 days. - Documentation & Reporting: Generate and file hard‑copy and electronic records, ensuring all entries are traceable and auditable. - Continuous Improvement: Suggest workflow enhancements and share best practices to streamline data‑entry processes across the organization. Essential Qualifications - High school diploma or GED equivalent. - Basic computer literacy – ability to start/shut down a PC, navigate between applications, save and print documents, and access the internet. - Fundamental web‑browsing skills – entering URLs, using browser navigation controls, bookmarking, and completing online forms. - Minimum typing speed of 25 WPM with a high degree of accuracy. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Eligibility to work in the United States; applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Preferred Experience & Skills - At least one year of experience in a pharmacy‑related environment (retail, call center, or clinical support). - Experience with state‑mandated pharmacy enrollment or certification processes. - Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. - Advanced typing speed of 35 WPM** or higher. - Proficiency in both English and Spanish, enabling effective communication with a diverse patient base. - Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems or pharmacy management software is a plus.
