Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome customers, demonstrating "active selling" and providing product information and guidance to ensure a high-quality customer service experience Assist in maintaining the appearance of the sales floor, setting up seasonal promotions and visual displays, and regularly monitoring assigned areas for product restocking and recovery Operate cash registers, assist customers with check-out, and execute appropriate cash handling procedures Help receive and process incoming merchandise, assist with special orders and store-to-store shipping requests, and possibly handle seasonal perishable goods Support the digital and in-store shopping experience by assisting with responding to customer inquiries Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service skills, a pleasant personality, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should be dependable, flexible, and able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. Moderate computer/systems competency is also required, as well as the ability to occasionally climb ladders, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
