As a Ramp Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of cargo and baggage, while providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**
As a Ramp Agent – DCA, you will be responsible for:
* Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, while ensuring timely connections and guiding incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions.
* Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather-related incidents.
* Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
* Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage to customers' destinations.
* Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
**Work Environment and Schedule:**
This is a remote work opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. Scheduling is based on operational needs, with shifts ranging from early morning to overnight. You will work between 20 and 40 hours per week, depending on your seniority.

**What You Need to Succeed:**
To be considered for this role, you must:

* Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
* Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
* Have a valid driver's license
* Proficiency in English
* Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
* Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE
* Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal
