We're a dynamic and inclusive organization that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. **Job Summary** As a Customer Service Representative - Water Billing Specialist at blithequark, you will be the face of our organization, providing top-notch customer service to our valued customers. You will respond to routine telephone inquiries, resolve billing and account-related issues, and maintain accurate records in our data system. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities:** * Respond to routine telephone inquiries from the public and other city departments regarding water billing, service connections, disconnections, transfers, extensions of payment, sewer/water averaging, and general information. * Enter change of service information into our data system and verify customer details. * Maintain accurate records of customer contacts, non-payment accounts, and change of address information. * Operate a two-way radio to communicate with colleagues and receive messages. * Utilize basic office equipment, such as printers, scanners, and calculators. * Post numerical records and maintain accurate filing systems. * Collaborate with colleagues to resolve customer issues and provide exceptional service. **Essential Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of at least one course in general office practices or equivalent work experience. * 35 WPM typing test required (testing will be scheduled at City Hall, Human Resources, 72 W.
