Full Home Interior Design – Transitional Style + Rental-Friendly Upgrades

Apply Now
We’re looking for an experienced interior designer to help design our entire 1,500 sq ft home. This is a rental, so we’re open to creative, non-permanent upgrades (peel-and-stick, paint, vinyl, microcement refinishing, etc.). We’re drawn to a Transitional style, but we want guidance on whether that truly fits our taste and the artwork and pieces we’re incorporating. Here's the photos of the place before I moved in, it was staged so none of this is my furniture but all the hard elements are still here, its an open canvas: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1d1deHHVeqp_2Iu5oWd03173Omvu1MHov?usp=sharing ⸻ Scope of Work Overall Goals • Define cohesive style direction • Space planning + layout optimization • Finish/material recommendations (rental-conscious where possible) • Lighting, color palette, and surface strategy • Art placement guidance (including frame sizing + positioning) ⸻ Overall House • Possibly new vinyl flooring throughout entire house • Ensure flooring selection complements existing key furniture pieces • Create cohesive flow room-to-room ⸻ Living Room • Incorporate existing leather couch • Peel-and-stick wood treatment for built-in bookshelf • Styling and layout recommendations ⸻ Dining Room • Incorporate existing dining table • Tie into overall aesthetic ⸻ Bedrooms • 2 bedrooms need flooring solution (existing floors are in poor condition) • Open to peel-and-stick flooring or vinyl • Master bedroom must incorporate existing bed ⸻ Kitchen • Possibly new kitchen light fixture • Possibly peel-and-stick marble finish on countertops (or alternative suggestion) • Paint or peel-and-stick solution for cabinets ⸻ Guest Bathroom • Has gray microcement • Need art recommendations (including frame dimensions and placement) • Rug recommendation and styling guidance ⸻ Primary Bathroom • New floor (peel-and-stick or new microcement color) • Refinish microcement in new color (considering emerald or dark blue with gold accents) • Elevated but rental-conscious approach ⸻ Artwork to Incorporate • Conquistador painting • Faust painting • Amsterdam artwork These pieces are important and should influence the overall direction. ⸻ Deliverables • Mood boards per room • Material + finish recommendations (with links) • Layout guidance • Art placement diagrams with sizing • Shopping list • Clear execution plan ⸻ Important – Read Carefully To confirm you’ve read this post thoroughly, please begin your proposal with the word WOLF.
