We're placing a Field Service Engineer with a global leader in materials testing technology, traveling nationwide to install, calibrate, and support precision testing equipment across diverse industries. What You'll Do:
- Install, service, and repair testing systems including drop-weight towers, torsion systems, temperature chambers, and medical testing equipment
- Calibrate equipment to applicable standards and prepare ISO/IEC 17025-compliant calibration reports
- Troubleshoot electronic and electro-mechanical devices using schematic and mechanical drawings
- Train customers on operation and software of machines
- Coordinate with the service scheduler to execute assignments efficiently across nationwide territory (90% or more travel)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent hands-on experience
- Eligibility to meet A2LA and ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements
- Prior experience with universal destructive testing machines and/or technical metrology/calibration highly desired
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
