**Responsibilities**
As an Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a vital role in organizing and processing critical information. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Analyzing documents to extract relevant data and add it to our FACIS database
* Conducting additional research as necessary, including contacting data authorities for guidance on interpreting documents
* Communicating clearly with management, peers, and stakeholders on processes and data acquisition/transformation
* Articulating data transformation processes effectively
* Taking on additional periodical and/or ad-hoc projects/tasks when necessary
* Working independently with limited oversight, using provided resources to answer questions before seeking assistance
* Meeting quality and efficiency benchmarks
* Completing items within the Data Entry queue
**Required Skills/Abilities**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A willingness and ability to take ownership and initiative on tasks and projects
* The ability to work as part of a team to provide on-time results
* Quick learning and adaptability, with the ability to adjust priorities throughout the day
* An uncompromising approach to meeting/exceeding pressing deadlines and expectations
* A commitment to doing work right the first time, inspecting work for flaws
* Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office products
* Strong critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail
**Education/Experience**
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
* A High School diploma or GED equivalent
* Be at least 18 years of age
* (Preferred) Healthcare industry experience or experience in data entry and comparison
