As a Data Engineer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from data pipeline development and support to data visualization and analytics. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and help us develop and sustain our cloud-based data pipelines. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipelines, as well as collaborating with our Choice Science, Client, and Innovation colleagues to ensure that our data solutions meet the needs of our business. If you're a skilled data engineer with a passion for cloud-based data pipeline development and support, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, and Gitlab * Collaborate with our Choice Science, Client, and Innovation colleagues to ensure that our data solutions meet the needs of our business * Develop and maintain data pipelines, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data set design, and data visualization * Work with our data scientists to develop and maintain data models and representations * Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to ensure efficient data processing and delivery * Collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure that our data pipelines are scalable, secure, and reliable * Develop and maintain documentation for our data pipelines and data solutions **Essential Qualifications** * Four-year college degree in Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field * 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support * Demonstrated expertise in using Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake) * Experience working in a multi-cloud environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOPS strategies for code organization/development * Experience creating and maintaining automated workflows and schedulers * Solid understanding of data set design and capability **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, like Snowflake, Databricks, or similar * Proficiency in cloud design and product contributions, ideally AWS * Experience overseeing and delivering code using a source control item like GitLab/GitHub * Experience using Docker **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects and collaborate with a talented team of data engineers and scientists * Professional development and growth opportunities * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools * Collaborative and dynamic work environment **How to Apply** If you're a skilled data engineer with a passion for cloud-based data pipeline development and support, we want to hear from you!
