Key Responsibilities
- Provide respectful, fair, and productive customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer interaction
- Register customer purchases on the designated sales register, collect cash, and distribute change as needed
- Process voids, returns, delays, discounts, and trades as required
- Keep counters and retail areas clean and well-maintained, take inventory, and maintain records
- Check in and price stock as required or as directed by the supervisor or shift leader
- Implement organization resource protection methods to identify and minimize profit loss
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled items (e.g., liquor and tobacco products)
- Develop and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale stock
- Complete resets and updates as directed
- Assist with the separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as determined by policies/procedures
- Have working knowledge of store systems and store equipment
- Provide customer assistance in the photo area, including digital photo services, banner print, and creative machine
- Take on web order responsibilities (monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, fulfill orders, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store)
- Assist with external and internal maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and deliberate store environment and appearance
- Conform to all organization policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with colleagues
- Complete special tasks and other duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- At least six months of experience in a retail environment
- Previous work experience with arenaflex
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
