**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Answering inbound and making outbound customer calls regarding the application process, billing issues, product problems, service questions, and general client concerns
* Maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller
* Adhering to FDCPA & FCRA Federal, State, and Client guidelines
* Updating consumers' account information during and after each call
* Identifying payment options and setting up payment arrangements as necessary
* Providing account updates to management as required
* Ensuring client/company quality standards are met
* Working assigned groups of accounts
* Assuring the best interests of the company are maintained
* Providing management with information on any suspected work or personnel problems
* Participating in continued training in UDAAP and compliance policies
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent
* Previous customer service and billing experience (a plus)
* Basic Microsoft Office applications skills
* Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (as permitted by law)
* Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle problems effectively
* Ability to meet FMA's Standards for attendance and promptness
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate:
* Experience with customer service software and systems
* Knowledge of billing practices and techniques
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
