**Experienced Customer Service Representative – Airport Operations and Customer Experience**

responsible for: * **Managing the check-in and boarding processes**: You will be the first point of contact for customers, greeting them warmly and guiding them through the ticketing and baggage check-in process. * **Making gate announcements**: You will ensure that customers have accurate travel documentation and make announcements to keep them informed about flight schedules and any changes. * **Handling baggage**: You will physically handle baggage, which may involve tagging and lifting bags weighing up to 70 pounds. * **Operating loading bridges**: You will operate loading bridges to ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of aircraft. * **Securing aircraft doors**: You will open, close, and secure aircraft doors to ensure the safety of passengers and crew. * **Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers**: You will escort these passengers throughout the airport to ensure their safety and comfort. * **Scheduling**: You will work a variety of shifts, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, based on operational needs. **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need: * **Consistently prioritize safety and security**: You will prioritize the safety and security of yourself, others, and personal data at all times. * **Embrace diversity**: You will be able to work with diverse people, thinking, and styles. * **High school diploma or equivalent**: You will have a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. * **Age and authorization**: You will be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States. * **English proficiency**: You will be proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills. * **Basic digital literacy**: You will have basic digital literacy skills, including proficiency in using technology to complete tasks. * **Physical ability**: You will be able to pass a physical ability test (PAT) and be able to lift bags weighing up to 70 pounds. * **Customer service skills**: You will possess strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle difficult situations and provide excellent service to customers. * **Airport-specific requirements**: You will be able to obtain a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal, as required by the airport. **Nice-to-haves** While not required, the following skills and qualifications are desirable: * **Previous customer service experience**: You will have previous experience in customer service, preferably in a fast-paced environment. * **Airport experience**: You will have experience working in an airport environment, including knowledge of airport procedures and protocols. * **Language skills**: You will be proficient in multiple languages, including English.
