Job Overview and Key Responsibilities In this critical role, you will play a vital part in our mission to ensure freight is shipped on time, every time, safely. As a Freight Specialist, you will be the face of blithequark cargo, interacting directly with clients in person and over the phone. This entry-level customer service position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career under the mentorship of our experienced leaders. Your key responsibilities will include: Booking and managing cargo shipments in accordance with operational requirements Providing exceptional customer service to clients via phone and in person Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless cargo operations Adapting to variable shifts, including early morning to late evening hours, and working between 20 and 40 hours per week based on operational needs Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations Basic computer skills and familiarity with cargo management systems Preferred: experience in customer service, cargo operations, or a related field Skills and Competencies To excel as a Cargo Agent at blithequark, you will need to demonstrate: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent time management and organizational abilities Ability to work effectively in a team environment Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing operational requirements A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to supporting the career development and growth of our employees.
