**Job Summary**
The Customer Development Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for analyzing data and providing insights to drive category and customer growth. As a seasoned professional with a strong background in customer development and analytics, you will be responsible for:
* Managing data sources to monitor the field execution of vendor programs and assortments.
* Communicating complex information to multiple stakeholders with varying levels of knowledge.
* Staying up-to-date on industry best practices and providing effective information to deliver sales, margin, and market development goals.
* Analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions and drive improvement of results.
* Tracking category performance, including sales, profits, margins, and market share.
* Developing, communicating, executing, and monitoring specific performance metrics and goals relevant to each business.
* Creating and delivering effective reports using POS data, syndicated data, and account-specific database information in presentation-ready formats.
* Evaluating and making recommendations on supplier performance to enhance the company's inventory and fill rate objectives.
* Understanding and applying customer, consumer, and industry insights using market research data to deliver category growth.
* Ensuring superior client satisfaction by providing hands-on deep analytics and contributing to team problem-solving.
**Key Responsibilities**

* Analyze and report data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions and drive improvement of results.

* Create and deliver effective reports using POS data, syndicated data, and account-specific database information in presentation-ready formats.

**Minimum Qualifications**
* Bachelor's Degree and experience within the CPG sector; Adult Beverage preferred; Costco experience a value add.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and quantitative analysis skills.
* Incorporating and interpreting data from multiple unrelated data sources into concise action-oriented recommendations.
* Understanding of National Chain Sales, Retail, and Distributor operations.
* Expertise in category management principles, syndicated data, and shopper/consumer insights (Numerator/Spectra, etc).
* Ability to collaborate with external retail customers, key suppliers, and internal teams to deliver insights and recommendations.
* Assertive leadership and decision-making skills with an aptitude for understanding changing market dynamics and resolving complex problems.
* Preferred experience working with Syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI), Internal Shipment Data, and Household Panel.
* Strong leadership, decision-making capability, and a proven track record of success.
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
