Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Accounting Analysis Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Channel Improvement/Global Accounting group, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across arenaflex to support new business initiatives and lead projects with a high-performing team that manages accounting processes for our Channel Development and global retail business. This role is crucial to arenaflex's success and pioneering efforts within accounting, ensuring timely and accurate month-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inspirational leadership: Communicate vision and strategy for the accounting team, fostering a positive environment, and instilling trust in leadership and collaboration to achieve business outcomes.
- Oversee complex areas of accounting: Manage accounting processes and provide clients with clear guidance on accounting implications.
- Enhance and collaborate for continuous cycle improvement: Advise and lead others in the implementation of ideas and innovations to refine existing systems, internal controls, and workflows affecting month-end and quarter-end financial close and reporting.
- Assist in developing partners and build a high-performing team: Mentor and motivate partners to meet business objectives, challenge the status quo, and seek continuous improvement. Engage, retain, and develop high-performing partners to address the needs of a growing business and provide ongoing smart development discussions.
- Enjoy managing a vibrant, fun team and have a clear ability to drive the business forward as part of a highly collaborative team, while acting in accordance with arenaflex's core values.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in driving accounting projects for a large, global, public organization.
- Experience working cross-functionally with operations and business teams to implement accounting solutions for new business activities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present accounting results and subjects to finance and business leaders in various settings.
- Experience with Blackline modules, including accounts, reconciliations, and journals modules.
- CPA or equivalent public accounting experience or higher.
- A bachelor's degree is required, with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications

- Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications, such as CMA or CFA.
