Job Description:
Support the client's Epic environment through database administration, production stability, system updates, and migration support.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain the Epic database environment
• Support production stability and ongoing operational performance
• Execute and support Epic SU deployments, including monthly Wednesday night releases
• Provide support during an Azure migration initiative
• Participate in quarterly weekend events related to SU/Epic activities
• Ensure the Epic environment stays current with the latest supported versions
• Collaborate with technical team members to troubleshoot issues and maintain system reliability
Requirements:
• Must-Haves:
• Certified Epic ODBA
• Strong Linux experience
• Hands-on production support experience with operational ownership
• Background supporting healthcare systems
• Experience maintaining stability in live production environments
• Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience supporting Azure cloud migration efforts
