eDiscovery Document Review Attorney (Remote)

Document Review Attorney Temporary, Project-Based | Remote Pay Rate: $24/hour Position Overview Our legal services organization is seeking licensed attorneys to support temporary, project-based document review engagements for law firm and corporate clients. This role focuses on first-level electronic document review and offers attorneys exposure to litigation support, eDiscovery workflows, and legal technology within a fully remote work environment. Assignments are project-driven and may vary in length based on client needs and case activity. Key Responsibilities • Conduct first-level review of electronic documents for responsiveness, relevance, confidentiality, and privilege • Accurately apply review codes and issue tags in accordance with project-specific protocols • Utilize industry-standard eDiscovery and document review platforms • Identify and escalate potentially privileged or sensitive materials as required • Maintain productivity and quality standards established for each engagement • Comply with all confidentiality, data security, and client requirements • Communicate professionally with review team leads and project management staff • Work schedules generally align with standard business hours; flexibility may be required depending on project demands Required Qualifications • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent from an accredited law school • Active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured review guidelines • Tech-savvy, with comfort navigating new software and legal technology tools • Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment • Reliable high-speed internet and a secure remote workspace Preferred Qualifications • Prior document review or litigation support experience (not required) • Familiarity with basic eDiscovery concepts and workflows • Experience using document review platforms such as Relativity or similar technologies • Availability to commit to the full duration of assigned projects Compensation & Benefits • Pay: $24/hour • Benefits: • Bi-weekly payroll with direct deposit • Optional medical insurance • Health Savings Account (HSA) • Wellness Program and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) • 401(k) plan with company matching • Attorney referral bonus program About us: Epiq is a worldwide provider of legal and business services, serving law firms, corporations, financial institutions and government agencies—helping them streamline the administration of business operations, class action and mass tort, court reporting, eDiscovery, regulatory, compliance, restructuring, legal transformation, and bankruptcy matters.
