Description JOB SUMMARY The Developmental Health Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and implementation of developmental health services and programs. This role will assist in organizing daily operations related to developmental screenings and warm line services, while providing ongoing support to Developmental Health and Help Me Grow staff. This position will also coordinate data tracking and reporting, assists with special projects, and helps coordinate outreach events to enhance community engagement and awareness of developmental health resources.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY TASKS - Support a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. - Train and support Developmental Health and Help Me Grow staff. - Coordinate Warm lines, special needs rate applications, termination reports, HMG family access and LMS. - Monitor data entry and warm line follow-up.  - Process and coordinate special needs rate applications.   - Generate reports and monthly summaries. - Coordinate provider newsletter content and Teacher Café. - Serve as backup for developmental health tasks.  - See also All Staff Support Tasks and Coordinator Support Tasks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES - Excellent skills in Microsoft Office. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Excellent organizational skills. - Maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive information. - Excellent customer service skills. - Able to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Able to effectively prioritize tasks. Requirements REQUIRED SKILLSETS - Task/Judgment – Perform tasks without supervision. - Independence/Expertise – Exercise independent thought and creativity. - Service/Initiative – Coordinate implementation of programs and procedures. - Supervision – Assist in the supervision of tasks. - Agency Growth – Not developed in this set. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - A bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field from an accredited university/college.  - Minimum of three years of experience working in a child care setting and/or in child development, including experience supporting development and behavior. PREFERRED - Training and implementation of trauma-informed care, Conscious Discipline and strengthening families approaches. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Physical demands and work environment characteristics described are representative; reasonable accommodations may be made to ensure individuals with disabilities can perform essential functions. - Regularly required to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hand and arms, climb and/or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear. - Must regularly lift and/or move up to twenty pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds with assistance. - Telework will require internet speeds of 4Mpbs download/4Mpbs upload and working in the immediate geographical area. - Must have reliable transportation, minimum insurance coverage, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. - Will need a reliable mobile phone service for technology compliance requirements (i.e. multifactor authentication).  - Specific vision abilities may include close vision and the ability to focus for prolonged periods of time. - Developmentally appropriate interactions with children may be required in the work environment.
