We are looking for an entry-level Accountant to support a financial services organization in Everett, Washington. This is a contract position designed to assist with critical accounting tasks, including reconciliations and project-based activities. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial institutions and strong technical skills to excel in this role. Responsibilities: • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards. • Support various ad hoc accounting projects to meet organizational goals. • Analyze financial data and prepare reports to assist decision-making processes. • Utilize arenaflex Excel for data management, reporting, and analysis. • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain compliance with regulations, including OFAC requirements. • Review transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. • Assist with documenting and improving accounting processes. • Provide support in addressing inquiries related to financial operations. • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry best practices. Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within financial institutions. • Proficiency in performing account reconciliations. • Familiarity with OFAC compliance and related regulations. • Strong skills in arenaflex Excel, including data analysis and reporting. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
