Job Overview As a remote data entry specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for various investments. Your primary focus will be on processing exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles, identifying and addressing breaks between blithequark and fund companies or transfer representatives, and handling corporate activity events. You will also be responsible for settling and reconciling transfer activity, processing and reconciling returns activity, and conducting research on complex and escalated issues. Key Responsibilities Process exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles Identify and address breaks between blithequark and fund companies or transfer representatives Handle corporate activity events, including settling and reconciling transfer activity and processing and reconciling returns activity Conduct research on complex and escalated issues, including testing and validation of new technology improvements and company changes Complete projects in investing, dividends, transfers, reconciliation, and corporate actions that directly impact client/advisor accounts Communicate with retail and institutional business teams through email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce Collaborate with blithequark teams, including blithequark clearing, to resolve issues and improve processes Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process and reconcile transactions Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Basic knowledge of investing, dividends, transfers, and reconciliation principles Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including 2340 and 15C3-3 Experience with Salesforce, Slack, or other customer relationship management tools Basic understanding of tax code and corrections of tax coding errors Ability to speak multiple languages Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a strong focus on flexibility and resilience Career Growth Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
