In this role, you will be the critical first point of contact during emergencies, ensuring swift communication between callers and first responders. Your ability to stay composed under pressure, prioritize calls, and provide clear instructions can make all the difference in life-saving situations. Key Responsibilities: Answer and process emergency and non-emergency calls promptly and professionally. Assess situations to determine appropriate response and dispatch emergency services accordingly. Maintain accurate records of all communications and ensure proper data entry in dispatch systems. Provide pre-arrival instructions for basic emergency care when necessary. Coordinate with local emergency departments and field personnel to ensure effective communication and response. Requirements: Must reside in the United States and have access to reliable high-speed internet. Previous experience in emergency dispatch or a related field is preferred but not required (training provided). Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining professionalism and composure. Proficient in verbal and written communication. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in emergency dispatch are a plus. Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Tech Requirements: Desktop or laptop with updated software (no tablets or Chromebooks). High-quality headset with microphone.
